Indigo dyeing is highly recommended for items worn directly against the skin, such as underwear, bedding, and socks .

• We only use organic dyer's knotweed, which we grow and process ourselves in TAJIMA.
• We obtain indigo dye vat through traditional lye fermentation, without the use of chemicals or additives.
• Only hardwood ash and spring water from Akabana are used for the indigo dye vat.
  
• We only use organic bran and shell ash to regulate the indigo dye vat.
